The Camellias Are Still Blooming

With California weather patterns changing in the recent years and especially with the current drought issues the garden responds so differently each year. I think my camellia bushes have had more blooms this year than in the past. And, they are still blooming. And, I like that. Just take a look.

There are three bushes side by side and each are at least eight feet tall.

I hope you enjoyed their beauty as much as I do when I go out to the garden.

Blessings,

Mary

  2. Thank you Susan. My garden is special to me and very therapeutic. I try to spend two hours every day in the garden, weather permitting. Last night we had thunderstorms and a little rain. Such a huge blessing to get any rain drops and I mean ANY! Blessings to You for your great blog and generosity with gifting your handcrafted beautiful aprons!

  3. These remind me of our beautiful panellists in Temple City. Remember the Camellia Days and the parade?

IN MY GARDEN there is a large place for sentiment. My garden of flowers is also my garden of thoughts and dreams. The Thoughts grow as freely as the flowers and the dreams are as beautiful. - Abram Urban

In the garden I tend to drop my thoughts here and there. To the flowers I whisper the secrets I keep and the hopes I breathe. I know they are there to eavesdrop for the angels. ~Dodinsky
